Capitol MotorCars does not just employ technicians; all our employees are avid British car enthusiasts that have been members of the Morgan Sports Car Club of DC since 1987. Some of our technicians have even driven their British classic vehicles as daily drivers with long commutes. Over the years, we have produced many performance enhanced vehicles that have performed exceptionally well on the race track and auto cross circuits around the US. We have a vast knowledge of how to modify your Morgan-based on our experiences with vehicles we’ve prepared for SVRA and VSCCA. We’ve installed complete custom fabricated roll cages that meet SCCA specifications into Morgan vehicles and other marques.

We can handle modifications of older Morgan vehicles as well as modern late model Morgans that require modifications to the engine management system. Some modifications that we recommend, not only will improve the handling and performance, but will also improve the ride and feel of the vehicle—new or old.

We offer engine services such as cylinder head porting and flow bench testing to get the maximum output from your cylinder heads. Whether it’s a Rover V8, Triumph TR4, or the Ford Cortina, we can rebuild your engine to extract that extra horsepower.
